Waite Campus
The internationally renowned Waite campus encompasses the largest agricultural research complex in the Southern hemisphere. Located close to the city, Waite is home to several co-operative research centres established with government and industry partners.
Waite Campus is located in the Adelaide foothills with a view to the sea and the city, just twenty minutes away by car or bus. The Campus is home to a number of Schools within the University of Adelaide's Faculty of Sciences, and to a number of research partners.
University of Adelaide staff and students work with campus partner organisations. This provides a unique opportunity to gain practical and theoretical knowledge through participation in ongoing national and international research projects.
Waite Campus is a centre for excellence in molecular plant breeding, horticulture, viticulture, oenology, integrated pest management, weed management and soil and water management. The Faculty is a major collaborator in Cooperative Research Centres on this Campus for Viticulture, Molecular Plant Breeding, Weed Management and Salinity.
