Best Poster Award for Ashleigh Broadbent at National Soil Science Conference

Congratulations to Ashleigh Broadbent from the Fertiliser Technology Research Centre who won the best poster award for candidates younger than 35 years of age at the recent National Soil Science Conference held in Melbourne.

Ashleigh's poster "Visualization of phosphorus diffusion from fertiliser" describes a unique technique developed at the centre, which visualizes on filter paper the area of phosphorus diffusion from a fertiliser granule in soil. This provides researchers with valuable, timely information about the mobility of P from fertiliser formulations under development.

FTRC would like to congratulate Ashleigh on her success.
