How to apply
Prospective honours students should contact the appropriate honours coordinator listed on each school page. These coordinators will assist you in making contact with specific researchers who are working in an area of interest to you.
Each discipline and school have unique procedures for assigning students to supervisors and projects, but all prospective honours students must complete the online form below.
Current University of Adelaide students
Domestic students and current international students should complete the online application form.
We are currently transitioning to a new application process. Our current form should be considered an Expression of Interest (EOI).
- You will receive an email if your EOI has been recommended for for the Honours project.
- Students will then apply through the Internal Transfer online process.
- Once applications have been submitted, you will receive an offer from the University's Admission Team.
- When enrolments open, you then enrol and course details and class numbers were provided in the first email you received.
If you are an international student who is not currently studying at the University of Adelaide, apply via the International Student office.
Non-University of Adelaide students
If you are not a University of Adelaide student and would like to undertake honours with us, you must first contact the honours coordinator in the relevant area to determine your eligibility and discuss potential projects. If the coordinator recommends that you should apply, then complete the online application form (which is an Expression of Interest form). If you receive an email that your EOI has been recommended for the Honours project, you will then need to lodge an application through SATAC (all fees are waived) and subsequently you receive an offer from the University's Admission Team.
Please contact the relevant honours coordinator.
