  • Faculty Assistance for International Students

    International students often arrive too late to attend our pre-enrolment advice sessions.

    For information to assist students with course selection and general enrolment advice we encourage International Students to speak to a Course Advisor at the Faculty Office, to ensure correct enrolment.

  • About INTI Australian Degree Transfers

    The Faculty of Sciences assisted INTI International University to develop the Australian Science Degree Transfer Program curriculum. The coursework offered by this program is based on that developed for the Bachelor of Science (Biotechnology) and Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science) programs at University of Adelaide. The similarity in curriculum design allows INTI students who have completed 1, 1.5 or 2 years of study, to seamlessly transfer with 24, 36 or 48 units of credit into a number of Faculty of Sciences programs.

    Available programs

    Science programs for 2 + 1 Years
    2 + 1 refers to the first two years in the Australian Degree Transfer Programme (Science) at INTI plus the final year at the University of Adelaide, Australia.

    Science programs for 1.5 + 1.5 years
    1.5 + 1.5 refers to the first year and a half in the Australian Degree Transfer Programme (Science) at INTI plus the final year and a half at the University of Adelaide, Australia.

    Students must have completed Level I together with BCH203 Biochemistry I, GEN203 Genetics I, MIC202 Microbiology plus at least 8 credit hours in courses selected from: IMM202 Immunology (5), BTE202 Cell and Tissue Culture (3), BTE203 Recombinant DNA Technology (3), BTE204 Fermentation Technology (3), BTE210 Biotechnology Laboratory (2), or SCI203 Bioinstrumentation and Analytical Techniques.

    Science programs for 1 + 2 Years*
    1 + 2 refers to the first year in the Australian Degree Transfer Programme (Science) at INTI plus the final two years at the University of Adelaide, Australia.

    INTI Bachelor of Biotechnology

    INTI Bachelor of Biotechnology students who have completed 1, 1.5 or 2 years of study may transfer to Faculty of Sciences Programs as described above.

    Other Eligible Transfer Programs

    American Degree Transfer Program (Biotechnology and Life Sciences) students, who have completed one year of study will be considered on a case by case basis. Contact the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Adelaide for further information.

    English Language Requirements

    The University of Adelaide English Language Proficiency requirements will be waived for degree program students who have passed at least 80% of their courses.
