A message from the Deputy Dean (Learning & Teaching)

Braden Phillips new

Dear colleagues,

Isn’t it fantastic to see so much life and action return to our campuses with the start of Semester 1! We had over 1200 students attend the SET Faculty welcome in O-week, filling Bonython Hall and spilling over into the Flentje, with the majority staying on to attend their program sessions. Across the campuses we’ve had a huge variety of events to help our students connect and settle in. There have been Amazing rACEs, UV paint parties, wine tours, and engineering challenges. It’s also been excellent to see the casual teacher training established in Sciences roll out right across the Faculty. Thank you everyone who has helped make all this possible.

Please see this short video summarising SET's Faculty Orientation Day on Wednesday 22 February.
