Cell biologist to lead the Faculty of Sciences
Internationally esteemed cell biologist Professor Keith Jones has been appointed the new Executive Dean of the Faculty of Sciences.
Professor Jones is known for his research into the biological mechanisms of egg development and changes due to ageing – a leading cause of infertility.
He will have overall responsibility for the faculty’s teaching and research at the University's North Terrace, Waite and Roseworthy campuses.
Starting in October, Professor Jones will continue in an active research role, helping to boost the Faculty of Sciences’ already strong international reputation for reproductive biology research.
