Set on over 1,500 hectares of land for practical training, it's home to South Australia's only veterinary school and a $37 million vet clinic, which will catalyse your clinical experience while studying.

Bachelor of Science (Animal Science)

With our Bachelor of Science (Animal Science), you can choose from a broad range of animal science courses that cover livestock, horses, wildlife, companion animals and laboratory animals.

You’ll gain highly practical skills, and will have the opportunity for overseas study tours and industry work placements. Our animal science degree has a high satisfaction ranking by students.

Most of this degree is based at our Roseworthy campus, home to our $37 million purpose-built veterinary teaching and research facilities.

Our six-year veterinary program consists of the Bachelor of Science (Veterinary Bioscience) and the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. You'll experience:
