Characterisation of ancient DNA damage in a new type of high throughput sequencing data

This project will make use of a novel DNA library methodology recently developed at the Australian Centre for Ancient DNA

The goal is to characterise ancient DNA damage using high throughput sequencing of the new type of DNA libraries. In addition, sequencing error rates and other experimental biases will also be estimated. 

The project will involve both experimental and computer-based work.
