Organisational Sustainability Program

Over the coming weeks, senior leaders will be sharing more information on the next steps for the Organisational Sustainability Program (OSP). This will include the Roadshows and Faculty and Division visits, as well as other ways for you to receive information and provide feedback. In the meantime, please visit the dedicated webpage, which will be continually updated as the OSP continues.



Professional Development Reviews (PDR)

Staff are encouraged to conduct Planning, Development and Review (PDR) Mid-term reviews and confirm in Staff Services Online (SSO) by Friday 13 August. The PDR Mid-term review is an opportunity to formally review progress against objectives, explore challenges, celebrate achievements and review professional development needs. PDR online modules and a range of support resources are available to assist line managers and staff.



Gender equality in the workplace

In accordance with the requirements of the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012, the University has lodged its annual public report with the Workplace Gender Equality Agency. A copy of this report is available on the Diversity and Inclusion webpage. Staff may comment on the report by contacting the HR Service Centre or the Agency. Please refer to the Agency’s guidelines on this process on their website. 



Enterprise Agreement Variation expired on June 2021

The Enterprise Agreement Variation known as Schedule 8 Job Protection Framework due to COVID-19 expired on 30 June. The remainder of the University of Adelaide Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021 remains in effect until replaced with a new agreement. For information about enterprise bargaining, please refer to the EB website.



End of year close down period

Advance notice of the Christmas close down dates to help plan leave. The University will be closed for business from Monday 27 December 2021, and will reopen in the new year on Tuesday 4 January 2022. Further Information.



Update: First aid training and equipment (e.g. kits)

New process for booking first aid training and a new preferred provider will now service all first aid kits for all Faculty of Sciences Schools and campuses.
